The Project(II) of the Cross-Departmental Informative Integration Program about Water Monitoring

Absrtact
In order to sustain water for water supply and agricultural consumption, the government moved to develop and manage water resource. Not only the quantity of water, but water quality is another key point for water supply and agricultural water consumption. EPA has set up a process of regular water quality monitoring in rivers, reservoirs, ground water and seaside water to enhance water quality monitoring and management, then after integrating retrained SOP into water quality database in EPA ,a compact information of water quality management system was established for purpose of statistic analysis. In the project in 2005, “The Project(I) of the Cross-Departmental Informative Integration Program about Water Monitoring”, which was also executed by RITI ,the data quality controlling and certified process of water quality monitoring and spatial-based display has involved in the system. This year, the system is extending the functions of previous project, including extending database of other apparatuses, downloading data of water quality, assisting data monitoring, checking sampling journey, report making and displaying. Finally, this system will arise the availability of real-time water quality monitoring and continue integrating water quality information of Taiwan. The goals of this system are 1. Extending the water quality information exchanging and setting up a platform of water and water quality for data interchanging. 2. Based on the architecture built by previous project, supplying diverse water environment data processing and displaying. 3.Establish an inquiry system and database center including quality and quantity of water among administrations.
